Intensive workshop of physical theatre and butoh dance based on archetypal images, tales and myths.

Body and dramatic training utilising concrete materials provided by the participants. We will work on stories, myths and images (photographs, drawings or sculptures). The objective is to create a short piece (SOLO) from an image or myth (archetype).

Program

Introduction to the Puppet Body technique. Scenic composition. Imaginary and dreamlike universe. Improvisation. Theatrical actions. Choreography. Meditative movement. The Void as a creative seed. Sensory elements and scenic creation.

- Workshop oriented to the creation and investigation of a piece (SOLO) of physical theatre and butoh dance.

- No previous experience in performing arts is needed.
