El Mal de la Piedra
10 EUROS - ON THE DOOR
Recently released in Buenos Aires and now on tour in Spain, the Argentine theater company El Vacío Fértil presents 'El Mal de la Piedra', by Blanca Doménech, under the direction of Tony Lestingi.
Spain in the present. The Valley of the Fallen, the pharaonic monument that Francisco Franco ordered built after the civil war as a symbol of triumph, is crumbling from within. Miranda is a National Heritage Contracted restorer who works by analysing the stone to try to diagnose it and then find the best solution to avoid collapse.
One afternoon in which a confrontation begins between members defending historical memory and neo-Nazi groups, Andrés, a security guard, attends a mysterious call from the restorer. A dialectical battle begins between them in which Miranda will be challenged in her political, moral and ideological convictions. Meanwhile, the drops fall and continue to count down to the inevitable.

Mal De Amor
10 EUROS - ON THE DOOR
'Mal de Amor' was born in February 2019 in Barcelona. The work is an adaptation of the famous work 'Rotos de Amor' by Rafael Bruza. Part of the need to understand love and love relationships. Directed by Laura Federico and performed by Benjamin Coelho.
Sebastián Berlanga waits for Diana on the street corner with a briefcase in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. He looks excited and impatient. What happens when she appears is a mystery.
Every story has sadness. It starts with hope and ends with something that dies. Every story has an unpleasant taste. You start by licking your lips and end with stomach pain. Every story has a horror. It begins with play and ends with the eyes out of orbit. Every story has a failure. Sebastián Berlanga was that failure.

Pinocchio: El Nacimiento del Actor
15 EUROS - ON THE DOOR
Pinocchio - The Birth of the Actor, is a dreamlike and gestural play inspired by Carlo Collodi's classic 'Le avventure di Pinocchio', which you can see at Oracles Theatre.
Directed and performed by Orland Verdú, the piece ventures into Pinocchio's life as a representation of the collective drama of our civilization: an updated image of a human being alienated from his own freedom in search of his true 'I'. The piece is a visual and imaginal poem with a demanding and transforming physical and corporal work.
Society slowly turns into a puppet theatre for the sleepy audience on the front line of the Platonic cavern. The shadows that move on the wall are not real. But the human being desperately needs to believe in this illusion. Until one of those puppets realises that it is a puppet. That is the story of Pinocchio. That is the actor's tragedy.
Realise that everything is a lie. And keep lying so they don't kill us.
